Meet Lori

Hi, I’m Lori Leonard, a dual board-certified nurse practitioner in Adult-Gerontology and Psychiatric Mental Health. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, obtained in 2014 and again in 2020. With 30 years of healthcare experience, I have developed a deep compassion for helping others recover from illness and achieve a life of happiness and health.

I began my career in healthcare in 1995, working in various roles and always maintaining a passion for providing excellent care to my patients. My journey includes years in chronic pain and addiction medicine, which enriched my understanding and approach to holistic patient care. After returning to the University of Alabama at Birmingham to further my education as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I recognized the growing need for mental health services and the shortage of providers. This inspired me to start my own practice, Mindset & Body Reset, in 2022.

Meet Mary Kate

Hi, I’m Mary Kate Smith, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from Brenau University with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2021. Since beginning my nursing career in 2015, I have come to realize that providing empathetic care to each patient I encounter, no matter their walk of life, is truly my passion. I am also currently employed as a nurse practitioner at Haven Health Clinic in Rome, GA.

I began my nursing career in 2015 and worked for 6 years as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse. Throughout my career, I have also served on the medical mission field as well, which gave me a true appreciation and love for community health nursing. I desire for everyone to receive quality care, and know they are supported and their life experiences are valued when in my care.

I am a wife to Ryan, as well as a mother to two boys, Elliott and Lynden. Being their mother is truly my favorite job. They keep me busy, and I would not have it any other way!

Meet Kayla Mann

Seeking mental health care can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve felt rushed, dismissed, or treated like a diagnosis instead of a person. Many people come to me wanting care that feels thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded. My goal is to offer support that truly looks at the whole picture.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and 14 years of experience working as an Licensed Practical nurse and then as a Registered nurse in the mental health field. My background as an RN deeply influences how I practice today — with an emphasis on listening, clinical judgment, and individualized care.

My approach is best described as comprehensive to overall health. I believe mental health is influenced by the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and physical health. In practice, this means combining evidence-based psychiatric care with a holistic lens. Along with psychiatric evaluations and medication management, I consider factors such as sleep, stress, medical history, current medications, and — when appropriate — laboratory review to help guide treatment decisions.

I believe medication can be an important tool, but it should be used thoughtfully and reviewed regularly. I take time to explain options, answer questions, and adjust treatment based on how you’re actually feeling and functioning in your daily life.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, and stress-related concerns. Whether you’re new to psychiatric care or looking for a more collaborative and whole-person approach, I strive to create a calm, supportive space where you feel respected and heard.

Meet Gregory

Gregory Mercier, DNP, ARNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals ages two and up. He offers both primary and urgent care services through an integrative medicine approach, blending conventional medical practices with functional and holistic principles.

His philosophy centers on treating the whole person rather than isolated symptoms, recognizing the body as an interconnected system where true healing begins at the root cause.

Gregory brings 15 years of healthcare experience to his practice. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Florida State University in 2024. His clinical background includes extensive experience in oncology and then trauma care as a registered nurse, followed by his work as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2024.

Gregory’s goal as a provider is not only to alleviate symptoms but to identify and address their underlying causes. He partners with patients to support long-term wellness through personalized care plans that emphasize lifestyle modifications, preventative strategies, and targeted supplementation when appropriate.

Through this approach, he strives to safely reduce patients’ reliance on medications whenever possible, helping them achieve optimal health with the least necessary pharmaceutical intervention.

Outside of the clinic, Gregory enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, reading, bowling, fishing on Lake Weiss, and playing with his two dogs, Reiner and Annie.

Meet Jenny

For more than 10 years, I worked in surgical medicine as a certified surgical first assistant, witnessing firsthand the effects of chronic inflammation and disease. When my daughter and I were diagnosed with celiac disease, our family’s health journey took an unexpected turn. As we learned to navigate food sensitivities and dietary restrictions, I discovered the powerful connection between nutrition, wellness, and healing.

That journey led to the founding of Lambs Farm & Bakery, created to provide safe, delicious gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free baked goods for individuals and families facing similar challenges.

Today, as a board certified functional nutrition counselor, my work is rooted in both faith and purpose. I believe God designed our bodies with an incredible capacity for healing when given the proper support, and my passion is helping others find hope, health, and encouragement along the way.

Meet Randy Hibbard

I am a Christian counselor with the simple goal to help others. While my counseling is established in Christianity, I welcome people of all faiths. My approach is to provide a therapeutic environment where each individual I counsel feels they are respected, listened to, and feel safe to express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Much of my approach utilizes evidence-based practice to apply techniques appropriate to the individual’s needs; however, I also include empirical practice that includes drawing from relatable life and work experiences.

I received my counseling education from two Christian Universities. I was also raised in a home where the Christian faith was encouraged and taught. I apply the Christian worldview I have learned as a child and have chosen for my life while striving to help each individual person according to their perspectives, motivations, struggles, and
obstacles.

Providing opportunities to overcome, to improve, and to learn with an atmosphere focused on encouragement, support, healing, and care is my goal. I want to help you live with a quality of life that is more focused on who you know you are and to help you learn to make healthy choices that will keep you on the path to continue with great satisfaction of the life you live. While I focus on long term improvement, I am also willing to help you with short-term changes that help you grow to a better self.

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I lived there for the first 24 years of my life until I enlisted in the Army serving as an intelligence analyst. After my service, my wife and I moved back to Texas and adopted two children with severe and persistent mental illness. I was working towards a business management degree when I experienced deep conviction to drop everything ‘business’ and become a counselor. In 2009, my immediate family moved from Texas to Northwest Georgia to be closer to family.

My personal experience of difficult and even traumatic events has shown me the importance of working through life’s struggles and grief. I began my career in geriatric counseling in Centre, Alabama in 2016 and in 2019 moved closer to home in Rome, Georgia. I enjoy spending time with family, singing in a church choir, and hobbies such as wood burning and fishing.
